Double Date with Alexxa

I really believe this short story needs to be told, however right off the bat, I confess this project was a big disappointment, but a great learning experience. Particularly regarding how much creative input one man can control at one time. Essentially I had a team of mostly novices under me that required me to truly direct, almost everyone! Down to the PA's, sound department, even the DP and I couldn't really synchronize. Whether due to his lack of experience or my lack of pre-production meetings with him I could have been much better and I admit, trying to do things on the cheap, does not necessarily mean you have to use all amateurs. There are plenty of talented and experience people willing to work to get reps in if their schedules permit. Regardless, this short has a whole 2nd half that was never edited as it got was too lengthy and preachy, but while I do not consider myself anti-technology, there are technologies already well into development that could be existential threats to humanity, and not all of them are laser wielding terminators. I hope you enjoy this comedy Sci-Fi. I can't say I enjoying making it but i hope it's fun to watch. Special thanks to my editor that massaged it into something fun to watch!
